About Treatment Using The Venclose™ System
Living with CVD is possible if you’re able to recognize the symptoms, manage disease progression with lifestyle modifications and find the right vein specialist to build a treatment plan for refluxing veins.
Are Twisted, Enlarged Veins Causing You Pain?
While tortuous or bulged veins could be early signs of venous disease, and the good news is that this condition can be treated. Varicose veins and other leg symptoms can cause stress, discomfort and even impact your daily life. It’s important to know that what you’re experiencing may be more than just a cosmetic issue and not part of the normal aging process.8,10 When it comes to your health, the more informed you are, the better equipped you’ll be to take action.

The Venclose™ System Could Be Right For You
For individuals with Chronic Venous Disease (CVD), the Venclose™ System is the latest treatment option using the current standard of care for endovascular treatment with radiofrequency ablation – where heat is delivered to a refluxing vein causing the diseased vein to close and shrink.
What Makes the Venclose™ System Unique?
The Venclose™ System offers a minimally invasive thermal procedure compared to traditional surgery. RF ablation technology can potentially reduce post-operative pain and bruising in patients compared to vein stripping or laser therapy treatment.27 Though individual results may vary, patients can typically resume normal activities within a few days of an RF ablation procedure.28
While some vein catheters can be reprocessed more than once and used on different patients, the Venclose™ System is a disposable, single-use device; meaning that it is not reprocessed, cleaned, or used again on another patient. It is also not a permanent implant.
