Venclose™ Catheter Procedure Highlights

When getting the Venclose™ Catheter Procedure, patients can expect their RF ablation treatment for venous reflux to be minimally invasive.

How It Works

Your vein specialist will insert a small catheter into the diseased vein, that delivers targeted heat along the vein segments. This is much like getting an I.V. Your vein specialist will use local anesthesia during the procedure.
The heat delivered will then cause the diseased vein to shrink and close.
Your vein specialist will slowly withdraw the catheter to treat the entire diseased vein.

Once treatment is completed successfully, blood flow will naturally reroute towards the nearby deeper and healthier veins to return to the heart.
